Simone Biles
Simone Biles won her 20th gold medal at the World Championships, as Team USA captured its seventh successive title in the world on October 4, in Antwerp Belgium. Biles is currently the most decorated female gymnast in history, winning 33 medals in world competitions and the Olympics. Biles was able to perform a vault so difficult that it was the first time a woman ever did on an international scale. The feat, originally known as the Yurchenko Double Pike Vault has become known as the Biles II. A record-breaking gymnast performing in her very debut international meet since 2021, will be competing in an all-around individual final on the evening of the 6th of October. Simone, born in Columbus Ohio in 1997 was taken away from the home of her mother due to an addiction. She and her siblings were placed in foster care. Ron her grandfather, who was her maternal grandmother as well as Nellie the wife of his former nurse welcomed the children. Six years ago, their age, they took in Simone and Adria. Simone along with her other siblings were taken in by their great aunt.
